Skills
Description
As a building technician / all-rounder, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of technical equipment and facilities in a building or property. You will work closely with the facility management team and report to the facility manager. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
- Carrying out repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment and installations
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and standards in the field of building services engineering
- Planning and execution of maintenance and inspection work as well as preparation of test reports
- Support in the procurement of spare parts and materials
- Coordination and supervision of external service providers and craftsmen
- Cooperation in moving and renovation of offices and premises
- Assist in the care and maintenance of outdoor facilities, such as gardening or winter maintenance.
- Occasional assumption of on-call duties outside regular working hours
For this position, you need a completed training in the field of electrical engineering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology or sanitary engineering. Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience as a building services technician and have a sound knowledge of building services engineering and the relevant regulations and standards. You work independently, reliably and responsibly and are able to keep a cool head even in stressful situations. Good German language skills are required, English language skills are an advantage.
