Welcome to our catering and gastronomy service!
To ensure that our customers enjoy a pleasant and smooth experience, we have developed these General Terms and Conditions (GTC). The GTC govern the relationship between our company and you, the customer, when you use our catering or gastronomy services.

Our T&Cs are designed to ensure transparency, clarity and fairness. They provide you with insights into our obligations, your rights and duties, and the conditions under which we provide our services. It is important that you read and understand these GTC carefully, as they form the basis for our cooperation.

We place great emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. Our catering and gastronomy team consists of experienced professionals who strive to make your occasion an unforgettable event. From planning and preparation to execution and on-site support, we aim to provide you with excellent service.

In our T&Cs you will find information on topics such as reservations, payment terms, cancellations, disclaimers and privacy. We want to make sure that you are informed about these important aspects related to our services to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Please note that our GTC are legally binding as soon as you start using our services. By continuing to work with us, you automatically agree to the GTC.

For the price calculation of the individual components we assume a menu with three courses and at least 20 people.

Plan-B Kitchen AG must receive the final menu & wine selection at least 4 days before the event.
The seating plan must be announced 72 hours before the event.
The number of attendees for a given event must be guaranteed by the event organizer 24 hours in advance. Invoicing will be based on the minimum binding guaranteed number, or the actual number of attendees. Events where the participants stay overnight in a hotel are generally invoiced according to the number of overnight stays = guaranteed number. The organizer will announce the exact program at least 24 hours before the event (e.g. speeches, artist interludes, etc.).

In case of an exclusive rental of a location, a guaranteed turnover of CHF 4000.- up to 6h and CHF 10'000.- from 6h is required.

Faultless quality of food and beverages
(e.g. coffee breaks, meals, etc.) can only be guaranteed by Plan-B Kitchen AG if the participants show up at the agreed upon
times or if the organizer changes the time for the start in time (at least 2 hours before).

Catering with food truck:

  • The client shall obtain the necessary permits for the location and type of catering. He informs himself about the applicable regulations and requirements of the competent authorities and complies with them.
  • Sufficient electricity will be provided at the stand location, standard at least 1 can 380V, 16 AMP. The food truck needs a power connection to run the equipment and keep the food warm. It is recommended to have an extension cord ready in case the connection is too far away.
  • The floor should be as level as possible so that the food truck is stable and not sloped. Uneven or sloping surfaces can affect the safety and comfort of guests and staff. If necessary, the floor should be leveled with wooden boards or similar.
  • Access by truck 7 tons must be allowed. The Food Truck has a certain size and weight, which must be taken into account when choosing the location. The access road must be wide and high enough to transport the food truck. There should also be enough space for parking and turning.

Tap fee
We charge CHF 30.00 per 75cl bottle of wine for wines and champagnes brought to the event,
CHF 35.00 per 75 cl bottle of champagne and CHF 60.00 per 75 cl bottle of spirits.

Sparklers
Sparklers as well as fireworks may not be lit inside the restaurant. Fireworks in the open air require
a permit from the respective municipality. Plan-B Kitchen AG is trained for large fireworks.

Cancellation conditions
If the event is cancelled at short notice, the contract partner will incur the following invoice amounts:
7 - 3 days before the event 50% of the confirmed menu price and the confirmed number of persons.
2 - 0 days before the event 80% of the confirmed menu price and the confirmed number of persons.
If no services have been agreed upon, we will charge the percentages listed above, for aperitif events
on the basis of CHF 10.00 per person, for banquet events on the basis of CHF 50.00 per person.
For breakfast events we charge:
2 - 0 days before the event 80% of the confirmed breakfast price.

Billing
The number of guests notified 48 hours before the event is the basis for the billing of the agreed service.
If you come on the evening itself with fewer guests than reported, the agreed services - e.g. aperitif, menu
- will be charged according to the number of non-participating guests. If these are below our minimum number of guests, we will charge
CHF 60.- per "no-show" guest will be charged.
Additional participants will be charged according to the agreed conditions.

Extension | Night surcharges
The billing of the services rendered is based on the following criteria:

  • For flat-rate services, an hourly rate applies, which is agreed in advance. Each hour or part thereof will be charged in full, regardless of the actual duration.
  • For personnel expenses, a half-hourly rate applies, which is also determined in advance. Each half hour or part thereof is charged in full, regardless of the actual duration.

From 24.00 o'clock we charge night surcharges for our employees (law) at evening events. These depend in each case on
number of guests (number of employees)
per hour - up to 50 guests CHF 150.- | 51 - 100 guests CHF 250.- | 101 - 150 guests CHF 350.- | 151 - 200 guests CHF 450.-

These charging modalities serve the purpose of transparency and fairness towards the customers and should enable a clear delimitation of services.

Decoration
The removal of excessive floral decorations and/or additional room decorations will be charged according to
charged.

Cleaning and waste
If, as a result of extraordinary soiling, special cleaning and additional refuse collection has to be carried out
the client/customer will be charged for the additional expenditure.

Terms of payment
Upon receipt of the total invoice, we expect your payment to be credited to our account, deducting the advance payment, within
14 days (no discounts) by bank transfer or cash. Credit card payments are possible, but will be charged with
2% fees. After this period we charge an interest of 5% on the full invoice amount until the invoice is paid in full.

Damage
The client/customer is liable in any case for all damages that occur to rooms, equipment, furniture and surroundings.
