Welcome to Nayan, an outstanding sushi restaurant in the heart of Chur! As a restaurant manager with us, you will play a central role in maintaining our tradition of excellent Japanese cuisine and first-class service. Our restaurant is characterized by its exquisite selection of sushi and traditional Japanese dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. This is our unique selling point (USP) and makes us a favorite destination for lovers of Japanese cuisine.

 

Your tasks:

Team leadership and development: As a manager, you will lead a talented team of sushi chefs, service staff and other employees. You will inspire and motivate your team to continuously develop in order to meet and exceed our high standards of quality and service.

Excellent guest care: You personally ensure that our guests enjoy a unique experience. With your attention to detail and your ability to cater to the individual wishes of our guests, you ensure that every visit to Nayan is unforgettable.

Supervision of operational processes: You will be responsible for coordinating the daily processes in the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This also includes ensuring compliance with our high quality and hygiene standards, organizing reservations and special events as well as staff planning.

Inventory and supplier management: You will be responsible for the inventory management of food, beverages and operating resources. Through your careful planning and cooperation with suppliers, you guarantee the freshness and quality of our ingredients.

Hygiene and safety standards: Compliance with hygiene regulations and safety standards is of the utmost importance to us. They ensure that all regulations are strictly adhered to in order to protect the health and safety of our guests and employees.

Marketing and customer loyalty: Working with the management team, you will develop customer retention strategies and implement marketing campaigns to further establish Nayan as a top destination for lovers of Japanese cuisine and attract new guests.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gastronomy, preferably with a focus on Japanese cuisine.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve top performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, courteous manner.
  • A passion for Japanese culture and cuisine as well as the desire to constantly learn and develop.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to maintain an overview even under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the relevant hygiene regulations and safety standards.
